Woman - a Tribute
Their logic still confounds me
I always feared it would.
My mind's superior reasoning
Should always overcome,
But somehow female intuition
Defeats me once again,
A masculine plank of wood.
They listen not with ears,
But with eyes that understand.
They sift the truth from beneath
A veil of deceiving well-thought lies.
A female listens to what's not been said
And cast aside the fancy
A man so carefully plans.
When God made woman she wasn't joking.
Nothing about a woman could ever be
Construed as bland.
No other creature has been made
Of such carefully blended silk and steel.
A gentle, powerful all knowing tender creature.
Perfection crafted by the maker's hand
