Snow... another I.P. if you will...

A couple of years ago I asked via the UKA forum if anyone knew these words:-
Snow.
Snow, all I know is snow comes down.
Down, down, brushing the cheek like a mother’s kiss
quieting all things
the city, the streets, the terror.
Snow comes down
that's all I know...
No one could recognise them, some googled and could find no trace, some suggested that I had written them myself and had forgotten. Their challenge that week as it is again this week too was to write a poem about Snow. if anyone can recognise these words I would appreciate knowing as I am definitely not into plagaism. Meanwhile this is how I developed it, another I,P. if you will:-
Snow.
Snow, all I know is snow comes down.

quieting all things
the city, the streets, the terror.
Snow comes down
that's all I know...
I asked if anyone knew these words
so familiar to me.
Haunting all my dreams
they wouldn’t let me be.
Someone suggested they were mine
written long ago.
I surely would remember
and I told her so.
The concept intrigued me
although I don’t like snow
The notion it hid all ugliness
Is one I won’t let go
Brushing lightly against the cheek
as soft as a mother’s kiss.
Quieting abject terror on war torn city streets,
