Like a tipped up cup
I let it out grit and rubble into
the mouth skip
the lip palped me meteors
wind eye, heart jump.
Bellow into my neck that you want
to bite my back
take me off track to the lipping bit
where you ring out that your cortex
has had enough of waiting
for the empty heart sacks to be something,
that there are pages and pages
of life script,
inking themselves in.

I love that. It reminds me of a bit in Debbie Curtis' 'Touching From a Distance' that didn't make it into the film 'Control'.
In bed, Ian turns away from her and doesn't speak (The room feels so cold, you turn away on your side). Debbie gets so frustrated that she bites his back so hard that she draws blood.
Cheers,
Mark
