What want mooring
They went home and locked the home gate
they went home and did the washing up
and at tea time when mum said
because I am in a boat having a hard time
we have dog for dinner
or words to that effect,
Mark folded his ears in like gnocchi
picked at the table and ate only bread,
Julie told her doll about grass planet
and the lost hair band lodged in her head
she said the cortex is all open for planning
her diary said mum is chemical dead.
The dustpan and brush behind the sofa
the milk bottles all swan lake
show you something about babies
worth borning
something about
boats what want mooring.

This reminds me of Brian Eno
This reminds me of Brian Eno or Wire:
"Face worker, a serpentine miner
A roof falls, an underliner
Of leaf structure, the egg timer"
Outdoor Miner
"Show you something about babies / worth borning / something about / boats what want mooring."
Terrific.
Cheers,
Mark

wow, great work. Nice rhythm, almost has a beat to it, and I really like that in writing, something you can feel as well as read. Excellent.
