It shows in your eyes,
The ache you feel in your heart.
Great brown pools
Dulled by despair.
It screams loud,
From the set of your shoulders
The resignation…
Your heart lies as crushed and broken
As the rose lying at your feet
And your life seems as striped bare
As the stem you hold limply in your pale hand.
Will the strength of your desires
Impregnate the ether?
I fear your ethereal figure shall haunt the halls
For all time.
Is it by chance that you stand upon the wolf?
Why do you not stamp and rage…
Howl your sorrow at the moon.
