07.04 am The sun creeps into the sky and the cats decided they would
eat their breakfast without complaining. On account the food is fresh
from a sachet rather than last night's midnight snack.
Yesterday (03) I woke up at 6.15 and fed the cats. They ate their food
without too much fuss, and certainly, Tabby was quite hungry. Usually
Longhair has gone out already or sometimes he waits for food before
going out. I am listening to the first "Bowling For Soup" album.
I wrote my online journal and then I got the train to work. On the
train I listened to my Alkaline Trio album which I like.
I went to work and spen tthe morning working on the mainframe app,
which I have now compiled to a final executable, although there is
another routine that I am having problems with, on account the original
data file I am working on to import has a lack of information.
At lunchtime I went in HMV and bought the new White Stripes single, I
am still undecided about The Music's new album, I may get it at some
stage, it cannot be any worse than Finch which is half an hour of
tortured screaming over growling guitars.
I bought panini and latte from Starbucks for my lunch.
In the afternoon I helped set up two computers and a printer in the
small boardroom, then had a meeting to discuss some Bloodstock reports
which I sorted out when I got back to the office.
I got the train home, and listened to D4's "6Twenty" album, which is
good. When I got home I played my guitar and then listened to D4 for
most of the evening. I went on the NME chatroom again, and got told to
f off but apparently this is par for the course. I did speak to a
couple of people, but I am still finding my way about. It's like going
into a strange pub and trying to figure out what people are talking
about. There were about ten conversations going on. My wife was out at
her Mum and Dad's. I got a text from Erin, so I rang her quickly to see
how she was, and she was okay, which is good. She did say that maybe I
should stop emailing her for the present.
My wife got in and we had tea, and watched some tv.
PS (written at 23.15) of course its not what you say, but what you dont
say that matters. I am pleased that I even got one satr for todays
effort.
