B - SHE RECIPROCATES

It was she, who came up to me,
My eyes couldn't believe that it was she,
Her beauty mesmerized when she walked up to me
Again my eyes couldn't believe that it was she.

My heart stopped for a moment when I saw her in front,
Still my eyes couldn't believe that it was she,
She spoke to me so gently,
But I couldn't believe that it was she.

I fumbled for words to speak to her,
But I still couldn't convince myself that it was she,
Her desperate looks wanted that I should express my feelings,
The unexpected still bothered me.

She waited for a reply which I couldn't give,
She walked away in tears, while I looked behind her,
Because I still couldn't believe that it was she,
Now I repent for should have spelt,
"I love you", which she wanted from me.
