Forest Fires in Russia and floods in India, Pakistan and China have alarmed the environmentalists. The woes are unending for those who reside in these parts of the world. But, it seems to be just the beginning. If we go by the statistics of the annual rise in temperature, global warming or climate change is really taking the toll on the human race.
Awareness campaigns world-wide has not changed the scenario. Underdeveloped nations are the worst sufferers because the population below poverty line in these countries is huge.
Developed nations need to play a major role in the efforts to take remedial measures against global warming. Holding international meetings and conferences and documentation on this sensitive issue are just momentary which fade away with no action taken over a period of time.
The natural calamities occurring around the globe should be taken as an eye opener. And people across the world should wake up at this juncture and try and make earth a healthy place to live.

These are my personal thoughts and wanted to share it with like-minded people who are concerned to save earth.
