Come my boys, I have something to say,
Your Mother’s not feeling very well today
She may be gone, but there’s nothing to fear,
For rest assured that your Daddy is here
When your tummies are empty, I’ll fix your meal,
And I’ll comfort you, when it’s sadness you feel
I will wipe away your gentle tear,
For no matter what, Daddy’s here
And Mommy, I know you’re feeling down,
And your smile has faded into a frown
But listen to me as I tell you Dear,
Until you get better, Daddy’s here
God in Heaven, praise be with You,
I’m not alone for You are here too
And our family knows that You truly care,
Thank You for allowing Daddy to be there
