P assionate and soothing sort of describes hue

U nique in its mood, this crossing of red and blue

R egal and exquisite, like the taste of a fine wine

P leasent and relaxing, like grapes on a vine

L oved and admired, it can set a soul free

E nticing, yet ignored by those who cannot see

I should explain this poem, my little cousin had passed away and her favorite color was purple. I was asked to write something about the color purple. Well, I found it a little difficult to write, just what can one write about purple? I was racking my brain and then I just looked at the word and this is what came out, this poem is now framed all nice and neat and hangs on a wall.
