Cast in a beautiful Wyoming sky,
The grandest of all the land
A cowboy races, his lasso held high,
His horse obeying his command
A bull with the strength of 500 men,
Comes charging through a mountain pass
Straight forward he runs, as time and again,
The cowboys lasso falls to the grass
The battle rages between man and beast,
As the Antelope get out of the way
Neither of the combatants, gaining in the least,
In the game of nature that they play
I am the luckiest of man to witness this sight,
For to the City, I am returning
As I drive through the day and into the night,
For Wyoming, my heart is burning
