My Man Is...

Sweet; knows how to make me laugh at the perfect times. Understands that there are some things that are hard for me, and that reassuring me doesn’t always work; I need to do some stuff on my own. At least has an open mind and is respectful about my faith. Doesn’t mind my child-like attitude; knows that sometimes I NEED to act like a child. Attractive not only on the outside but on the inside too, with a good soul and a bright mind. Correct grammar, knowing that no man is perfect, but everyone has the ability to strive for perfection. Doesn’t have to understand what’s wrong with me, but can respect that I’m damaged in many ways and willing to love me as is. Doesn’t demand too much: a controlling man is not a man; he is a coward with three legs. Knows that I will have guy friends and though he may (and has the right to be) jealous, will understand that they are just friends. Will try to see what I am comfortable with and what I’m not and act accordingly. Respects my space and quirks as I respect his. Drives me wild with just the slightest touch. Holds me sweetly, not possessively, in public. Leaves butterfly kisses on my neck. Will never ask me to put him above my family and friends. (Unless they are in the wrong.) Won’t ask me to change or dismiss my morals and ethics. Has a sense of romanticism. Can cuddle without expecting more. Treats me like a princess, but doesn’t put me on a pedestal. Willing to just lounge around as much as spontaneously taking a trip. Lives life like it’s the end; understanding responsibility, but also that things are going to happen whether you want them to, and sometimes you just got to relax and get away from it all. Adventurous; willing to climb a tree for no reason. (Not being afraid of heights would be a good thing.) Likes cats. Can (and will) hold me during a thunderstorm. Willing to watch a sappy chick-flick. Knows that there will be times when I’m not comfortable with my body and knows me well enough to act appropriately. Likes my mind, even if he doesn’t understand me. Will not judge me. The type that will sit out and stare at the stars for hours. Can keep up with my fast talk. Respectful to not just me, but to everyone; a gentle man, who is nice and forgiving.
