Scarf

Knit two, purl two...
Every stitch a wish -
Every click a thought
to keep you warm -
a call for comfort
all across the miles
between us.
I've threaded in the sky
for you - some clouds
are in there too -
the odd stray hair
may have vined its razor
gleam around the yarn;
my autumn fall
I can't prevent it.
Tweeze it out -
discard, but know
that every other thread
is fixed with love.

Knitting and crochet! Lovely
Knitting and crochet! Lovely to think about the person who'll receive the gift as you knit, and relaxing but nice to feel you're producing somthing satisfying. Rhiannon

Ah, Bee, I can hear the click
Ah, Bee, I can hear the click-clack of those needles from here. I'm knitting my daughter a scarf for Christmas, hopefully this one...it was mean to be for her birthday in August, but....................
However, your lovely poem has inspired me to get cracking and jolly well finish it
