Love me

I whisper “please love me”
you turn around look at me but
don't hear.

I lower my hands and try again.
“Could.. do you think you could
love me?”

You look at me,
stare straight into my clumsy eyes
replacing the clumsy smile that
usually appears at your sight.

“I don't know what is this?”
I smile and send a missile to my
heart dislodging the feelings
completely.

“I'm Joking” I smile at the
elaborateness of my lie.
“ How could you take me
seriously?”
