When you visit love - flashing electric
blue like the stars in the sky. Here, but
somehow far away from my grasp.

I dream of your silhouette leaving my room
and morning arriving, all too soon. I see no
more kisses mailed from heaven.

When the stars are dull and the sky huge
and uncertain, I search for a glimmer of hope.

Above in the untraced sky, untarnished from
the cycle of love, drawing, undressing, rubbing
out, colouring in. You close your eyelids-
blind to the passion I desire.

You whisper “I'll call you later” and leave my
world once again, orbiting the space inbetween
us.
