At a funeral, Why does everyone cry?

When I die, please, don’t cry,
Don’t make me feel bad for being free,
Or sad for spreading my rightfully earned wings.
Let me fly and sore across the sky,
Let me embrace the freedom of throwing away a useless life.
Don’t make me look back and regret the times I never had.
When I die, please, don’t cry,
For the reason to live, is to die.
