the cause

A moment is but a lifetime for those who count it so yet a lifetime is a moment for those in the know
fact and fiction are fantastically interwined along a scientific line
stretching from just now all the way to a twinkle in the eye
love is but an opposite to the hate we dare not show as hate is but an equal to the love we come to know
given we are so small and the universe so large you would think that we'd be humble and acceptant of it all instead of casting shadows thousands of feet tall
in the end we are human whatever that may be
born to rule the oceans land and sky
for as far we can see
only time will give us pause to see the end before the means destroys the cause
