fragmented particles of supreme knowledge
drifting in clouds of mushroom soup
and grilled cheese sangy
as afternoon showers hasten memories
of past problems to the surface
right now

Stuffing my fat face fuller
each bite a bitter reminder
of shattered dreams and plans
snotted out like
fake pots of gold
down the rainbow

viscious clog of bread down throat
greed the cause of sad demise
as I choke on promises of glory
made in wasted years of folly
thunder beats across the land
as laughter to my tears

Echoing universal wisdom
through millenium passed down
ignored by modern societies
trampled by lesser men
hark!the end has come

new braintrain Everyone has a little gift. you certainly have doing poems. please keep doing this. Homeless need help and encouragement. I did one on AbcTales "Oh For A Bed for the homeless. all the best,we used to go centre all groups,finished.aged 16-80 you could try find one maybe.But you also,may find much help on the AbcTales as I have,from our Editor t.cook AbcTales,and other's. julie

thankyou for saying so.I've always been able to write but havn't done so in years.I might give it another go.I dread research for some reason which usually puts me off. I've spent quite a bit of my time homeless and as working homeless.Seen a lot of people spiral out of control on drugs and alcohol.To me watching people it all seems to boil down to pride.The streets can hit a person hard and as the days go by people tend to get weaker and weaker and do harsher and harsher things that they never would have before. Give a person a reason to have pride again and I think they might make it out of that situation.
