Mind Matter

I want to swim through the ocean of your mind,
wade though the musings and fancies
to find the file marked with my name.
I want to open it and ruffle through its pages, not to read
the words to wrap me in,
but to only feel the weight of what I am to you.
Standing with that file, I wonder:
If I closed my eyes tight enough, could I
breathe life into that file of yours to make the words
become the thoughts of people pages,
who would jump up to populate and dance to detours
to create new homes, parked along your ripping brain waves?
Will I ever be able to shoot across your head
like a star falling through the mind matter
to meet your lips with one quick
gasp of air, one that runs
through your body like a shiver to make your toes tingle?
Do you not understand me yet?
Let me try to say it in another way, I’ll try to make it clear.
If we were to take a roadtrip into the valley of my mind
every exit would be marked with you.
That day you entered my mind,
your file overflowed and settled homesteads over every inch
of my conscious memory.
