An Eagle Overhead

We saw an eagle overhead
as we fished fom the dock
circling higher and higher
"I can see it I can see it"
said my little daughter
The nurse said
"yea we saw it the other day
flew right down low
took a fish right out of the lake
so beautiful it was"
I thought
it is waiting.
Grandpa heard
the Grandchildren play
violin and cello
his children
gathered
laughing together and
reading to Dad
The Eagle has come now
fly Dad fly!
