When one gets old one looks up the ancestry

and one feeds the birds

takes an interest in gardening

and takes pride in being able to whip up an endless variety

of home cooked meals.

My husbands ancestry drove the genealogist

into somnolence

They had passed a farm

Father to sons

at Long Load near Martock

since 1500 or so

I'm sure my husband has some magnetic call to it

wanting to "retire to the West country".

I have even found a video of flooding at Long Load

fields and roads covered with silver sheets of water

and mud
