House Gargoyle

The house gargoyle is sitting on my back
softly like a cat.heavy,balanced
it might jump down
and grim at me any minute
point out its collection of
pet dust bunnies
wade figures lined up ,under the bed
they leap into to life when I turn my head
and breed ,become tumbleweed
The gargoyle likes to put
bits in the Hoover
and plugs
waits for me to itch
and run revolted to the bin or the loo
holding orts of the unidentified
I wish it was as loyal to you
