Thinking of Chocolate

Thinking of chocolate is supposed to
stop one
from eating it
so I'll dream of the stuff
the good organic chocolate
the kind I rarely get at Easter
just good quality milk chocolate
with lots of cocoa
in it
nothing fancy
no stem ginger in chocolate
no (please God) Turkish delight
no dark bitter chocolate
for grownups
just the kind that does have a depth
an almost chewy depth
to its sweet fat flavour

I'll think of chocolate
expensive silk slithers of
knickers
corsets
velvet capes
with a bit of gold frogging
milk baths. petals, underskirts,
and rose perfumes
an Isaak Dinesan Gothic tale
of the senses
and I'll think of you
