Broken heart

Thinking of all the things they did
She looks into his blue eyes
All those things are shattered to pieces
And knows all the things he said were lies

How could she have been so stupid
he used her and abused her trust
he had lit her heart into tiny flames
there love was now nothing but dust

As she found him and his mistress in bed
She wandered how long it had gone on
He used to have love in his eyes
But as she looked deeper all that love was gone

He stood up and tried to explain
But she turned around
She walked out as fast as she could
He was calling her name but she tried to block out the sound

How could he even dare try to talk to her
Even after this, he still tried
She turned around sharply, her face stained with tears
He told her it was a mistake, but she knew it was a dumb lie

She looked into his handsome face
Then took a deep sigh
She said that it was over
And it was time to say good-bye
