I liked this very much, Catherine. Just brought to mind those wonderful swirling 'mathematical' shapes seen, and filmed so much, in the sky at roosting time. And then the reminder of the individuality in a crowd. Rhiannon

Thank you, really kind of you to comment. I thought I'd try a haiku which I've never done before and try that IP thing which I don't know how to say I'm doing on the site! But I think I missed the boat on that and also, with 17 syllables, the objective! But you're right about those lovely clouds of birds. I used to see them over Bristol city centre a lot.
