I'm going to a concert to-day
where big brass bands play
numbers such as "Fly me to the moon"
and "Every time that you walk in the room"
There's the theme from "Vienna waltz
and pops songs of our choice
the violins cellos flutes and harp
all blend in with different parts
there's a small square corner some
get up and do the rumba
I love Cha Cha Cha Jive and Can Can see
my dress flares out up to my knees

I can picture The Searchers

I can picture The Searchers now, Julie, singing that song:-
"I can hear the guitars playing lovely tunes
every time that you walk in the room.
Close my eyes for a second...pretend it's me you want, meanwhile I try to act so nonchalant..."
Those were the days, eh?
Really enjoyed your poem and the last line was a fantastic finale;-)
