Anne Boleyn
look a like
with her white cottoned
frilled tiered gown
orange velvet nipped in
at the waist

High boots with lace ups
a little archway over the
top of the head in lace

Girl you go!
and drop them dead
the wave of her fan
on every command

Stella with her violin
and small specs:
dressed in navy blue
and white top
holding sheets of music
ready to bop

"Suzie
white dress long ringlets
driving all crackers
with her frill edged
cotton knickerbockers
could be a tennis player"

Juliet
Feather hat
blonde hair and a parasol
a dress sweeps to the ground
printed with the three bears on

Poppet
with ringlets and a pork pie hat
white dress and a posey
of cherries
hanging from the wrist

Velvet in her dark plum
dress
carrying a mauve colour
flower ball

"Rosebud
In her red velvet
coat and cape
bonnet shaped hat to match
with little stars on
predicting dreams"

'Goldilock's
Has been forgotten
off she goes
with her tambourine

her big blue eyes
shining
suddenly to the park
has gone, it is wet
and soggy

Doesn't care a damn
she starts dancing
slipping and sliding
dancing
to I'm The Queen of the Swingers'

Which bring out the three bears
Daddy Bear the biggest
is blowing a trumpet
in her delicate ears

Mummy bear is playing the trombone
and trying the moves
of the jitter bug

baby bear feels alone
the wind is blowing
making his hairy
coat stand up on end

and is crying
for the honey mummy
to dip his paw's in
stands on tippy toes

someone even put's
A Razzmatazz hat
on his head

People are joining in
everywhere
all have come to dance
the tunes played

The hip-hop
jazz
jive
Jigs
and
usual robotic
dancer
Peter aged 74
and me at 72
both at The Brunswick Festival
showing of what we could do
in the pouring rain

but all watch 'Goldilocks'
and the Three Bears
all the capers they got up to
rolling in the wet grass

munching a slice of bread
from a stolen table cloth
with honey on

leaving padded foot prints
for all
to catch them

Baby Bear been at the
Cherry! brandy
hanging upside down
on his trike

One paw in the air
'two parts to the wind'
with the cherries!
dangling between his toes

He jumped onto the stage
and gave the band leader
a bear hug

tried to play
the drums so loud
which excited the crowd

new Beeme Ooh! thankyou,you are the light that shines, part was true yesterday. Fill you in on the character's at the end of the week. Surprise! I got stung there, as most put things on the ground bags and clothes, we all mainly under umbrellas, I had tea and cake, back again dancing. Got pair white, shoes £3 just fitted there, I changed to. As mine didn't see quite hard enough, downpor ground. Two or three bands there, some coming up to dance with me! one put a hat on my head, stating what a lovely dancer, I brought other's in, one jiva great I know? we all had dances, he is great but to many movement's hands behind back. I didn't know. I wanted to borrow someone's stick, twirl a bit, no he wouldn't lend me. needed it. I wore tightish cat jumper huge "Green Eyes" big eyes were made off sequins, the eyes bit extra large! Daughter bought after I done, my "Green Eyes" poem. no, I just danced to the music numbers. Elderly man does robot movement's every year. One of the bands played "Teddy Bear's Picnic. Strange with the (IP) this week, wasn't it? to the music. One stall had poet cards, "are you a poet yes," he had done himself, so I asked for a funny one and another 50p time. Told him of AbcTales. very keen to join. I couldn't wear rockn'roll skirt, one had on black flared skirt with flowers on they wore. weather, boggy too. I am just reading your lovely ones. Phones, gone all strange the lines, as I didn't get to N/home yesterday, messages and faults said on the line. mean't to have someone else going didn't' turn up. I hear. I had the time of my life! without mine. Why wait. Cos; of bowls team all day matches. on and off all day, browned of with mine, in it, for a while, made them two lovely sponges, nothing done here, but to go back and say? I complained two sponges made, he used to do that, to me if I made one for church then, where is mine or our's say! rained from morning till night roughly played 10.am till 5pm. I was furious with mine. Cheesed off. Daughter gave quick call, kitchen being done, burst pipe! I ask you. I am of now. No time trying to connect. mustn't nagg. But the festival made my day. julie xx

new skinner_jennifer Wow, thankyou, it all part true, yesterday,there were bands there. and we all got dancing etc; heel toe one jiver I know, wet threw so had tea and cake and stayed on again. Fab; some just came to me dance or help, I was amazed. I am just trying it out I can't say of description's yet, let you know end of the (IP) week. Like your's very much. Try (IP) go on. But I got stung! coats on boggy ground. Made up for mine out, made cakes he did for bowling, team. But thoroughly enjoyed myself. Must have 20 joined in doing there own thing. I just have a go. Couldn't dress up weather, but we all stood! the weather! stalls were fab: julie xx

new Beeme thankyou loovely, yes I spelt it like that.laugh! No it was a coincidence, after reading this week's idea (IP) Goldilock's and The Three Bears'. Editor T.Cook AbcTales Tony said, let it lead wherever you like using the word's so I have tried. Then I went to park, no intention stay,and 2nd day rained, but bands, then one out of three, played the Teddy Bears Pic-nic. Little girl, carrying her teddy bear, and tiny little girl, in her tu-tu, cute with a puppy on a lead, as she ran, almost was dancing too. I got bitten by something, clothes and bag on grass. at first. Most drinking, I was gasping not for beer! julie xx

Nolan Thankyou lovely comment. I will have to read Proverb II I am not sure at all of that one? I wouldn't say ironic, word would be coincidence. Happened after, that I went to the park, three bands one after another, but one played Pic-nic Time For Teddy Bears. Was in fun doing actions! No afraid, not be no nanny. Julie. In Proverbs 31:11-31 virtues of women are listed, each verse has one. Now in my Bible there is a name in italic, given in front of each verse so, Alef; Bet; Gimel; … up to Tau. I’ve always believed these were distinct women's names, a virtue given for each. Always did looked a bit awkward like that. For example: 14. He. She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar. 22. Mem. She makes herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is her clothing is silk and purple. Which with enough imagination, are like: “Suzie white dress long ringlets driving all crackers with her frill edged cotton knickerbockers could be a tennis player” And, “Rosebud In her red velvet coat and cape bonnet shaped hat to match with liitle stars on predicting dreams” As children’s versions. The thing is I had the cat by the tail. As a list is of virtues of one woman it works out beautifully as had been intended (‘though a bit unrealistic!) When checking now I couldn’t find these names in any English translation. The names I found only in the Afrikaans, the 1933/57 translation. The names are in fact the Jewish alphabet letters in succession! Simply a list. A list for one, “a virtuous woman“, “her price is far above rubies”. Hope you don’t mind me going to so much trouble. I get carried away sometimes. That’s why I’m unemployed. Cheerio!

new Nolan hello! I like the way you have punctuated the names. Shall I copy, that. I had two spelling, mistakes one in little, one not sure, dictionary, four of them ,here, not in, means and all that Jazz, word is Razzmatazz found it?? If I put Speech marks to all names, look a bit dotty! won't it. I think will be new rule coming out all unemployed, so hope you won't be too long. You mention a word tapestry why? tired, to-day. new darkenwolf hi1! thankyou so much, glad you liked it, most of it was true, worked on the character's scribbles bit back, that's the secret, put in 'Goldie Lock's and The Three Bear's bit. I amazed myself! but busy, so didn't go on computer till 10pm. Wow! a cherry! I added to it, make it more funny and crazy. But the cherry! was there. About 4pm ish. Made up for getting soaked. I screamed and put my hand over my mouth. But your's are very good. A Mr Wolf won! to-day didn't have a penny on it, used to do can't say why!to-day, name of a regular horse. New Nolan Your so kind, I now have inserted! the name of the robot dancer !as I too have seen him at the Brunswick Festival lawns performing, and other places,now night clubbing bless him in the paper and photo, breakdancing and robotic dancing,74 to-day. Churchill Square he got into finals, so I took courage to phone him, seemed like him and copy of this, put in his name now? and our ages to. whoops.It was pouring down rain Brunswick that day. I had bought suit friend in n/Home, didn't want,cheesed off and Ray doesn't dance,or went so stood danced jived and with some came up,Blow me one of band played "Im The King Of The Swingers".It was fab for me. I watched brighton "My Face" one boy one girl win.The young teenagers breakdancing,and robot fab;AND Modelling, Peter right in front,so gave him good luck card and said AbcTales now put him in poem by name and age etc; The Argus we sent copy poem to paper but only allowed 350 words have to cut down, can't see how. The secret was their dolls Cheap, and I described all,and put in poem,added IP "Goldilocks" bit me slipping and sliding? And inserted now last stanza Editor to.Cook ABCTALES.Com said "Let the poem story lead you wherever it will. I screamed saw cherry! Thankyou all. Not dementia yet, umm what did you say? on the way. I enjoy reading your's and all.Catching up after really hectic time.Amazing work on here missed. thankyou reading and the comments so pleased with.
