the plan - or - great chance

why are we here, where do we go
who will we meet and what will we know
what brings us joy and what brings us pain
when did the flowers know they'd need rain
how will i know when my time has come
or if i will ever have they joy found by some
who cannot say why they found such gain
to love someone special who loves back again
what makes a dolphin suddenly cast to the sky
and leap in great circles as if it could fly
ive seen many things and wonder in awe
whats it about whats it all for
there must be a point to it
some great controlling force
destiny or fate just taking its course
i have no great plan am no defining wheel
ill just live my life with love and with zeal
in hope that one day i fit in its plan
and find my true love to the woman her man
