I felt your fingers walking upon my soul
And shivers ran down my spine.
Felt you penetrate my life
And was helpless to resist
You claimed my dreams, my thoughts, my body
And my time.
I wished to touch, to stroke, to taste
Every wound and hurt,
To spend a night wrapped in your arms
Starring at your eyes.
To tell you things I'd never told another being
And listen to your desires.
But we communicate in silence
On telepathic waves
Meeting only in our dreams.
In reality we pass like strangers
Who have no reason to stay behind.
Only in my heart I know
Old friends we will always be.
I could say another time
Another place,
But it would be a lie
We fit now, Elsewhere we would never be.
