futility is the drooping petals
of the flower you always knew would die.
Resentment is the symbolism that is carried
In their fall.

Arrogance is the naive words
Frozen upon a cynical mind.
Brutality is the innocent heart turned cold
In the harsh reply.

Transience is the wish
Carried on a dandelion, that you didn't tell a soul.
Bitterness is where all the dandelions lie
In the dust of trampled dreams.

Love is where the flowers never die
Where innocent thoughts fill open ears
And dandelions float unharmed
To the master of all dreams.
