A Candle Burns

A candle nestled on crimsom soaked sheets
Taut trickling
darkened wax
dauntless in heavily hooded deaths embrace.
The candle burns in moonlights hazel glow
wilting will
guarded tears
accepting the shattered time of wasted years.
A candle burns in riddled glyphs perlonged victory
wick consumed
hope snuffed
downward unto the unlit box of my barren tomb.
A candle burns as the burdened torch passes on
melted redemption
molded anew
searing sewn in grief weaving lustrous eternal descendents.

Such a rich and flowing poem. Also good use of the
poetic word.
Really enjoyed reading.
Jenny.
