Dementia

Prologue:
When criminal psychologist David Ashbourne discovers that the recent crime scene he stumbled upon is more horrific and indeterminable than any case he has confronted before in his career, David spends two years tracking the serial killer to New Hallow, Rhode Island. After locating the home of the deranged murderer and given a strange box containing his confession; David is confronted with a gruesome revelation that humans are not the only creatures in existance and that the world is populated with endless monsters and guardians from an ancient, secretive order called "Aterum Infernum Unseelus". However, there are few other denizens of the night intent on keeping the peace to any extreme at all costs. David is introduced to a new task force who must take on a brand new terror born from another dimension that seeks to enslave their society and, should they succeed, will end humanity in utter madness and carnage. Here he begins his journey with a small assortment of intelligent yet highly unpredictible set of characters who align themselves to trace the source of these puzzling events...though they may already be too late. Reality knows not of sanity, and sanity is only one step away from "Dementia".
