Impatient

Malcolm, a middle aged and wirey young man, sat patiently brooding on his front porch conflicted as to how he should kill Ms. Barlow. He always hated his neighbor with a passion undefined. For over a year now he had to endure the torment of that elderly bitch's melencholy waltz music at twelve at night and shunned the day when her yippie little puppy pissed and shit all over his lawn. Yet the worse thing happened yesterday, something so awful he made it his resolution to end this suffering tonight.
All of that would change when Malcolm avowed he would silence the wretch once and for all for her constant annoyances. He checked his duffel bag for all his necesseties for the evening.
Duct tape, industrial plastic wrap, and his prized bowie knife handed down from his distant father from the Gulf War. Perfect.
"Tonite you get your just desserts, you old cunt, I'm gonna show you a world of unspeakable agony." He growled angirly eyeing his tools of retribution.
Yes, this bloody night will be something the media will never forget for years to come.
Ms. Barlow was waiting for him to feast on his fresh young flesh. She was not your usual, miserly neighbor when it came to the average dietary routine. She was something far more ancient than darkness itself. When she moved here at first she had her doubts that the locals had her unique tastes. However when she tasted Malcolm's blood yesterday evening after he discarded his blood soaked rag on her lawn from a minor lawnmower accident; she was tossed lavishly into a swoon. He was so sweet. So ripe for the picking and she knew no one would look or miss him since he hated his family more than her. Being a succubus had its advantages despite the constant craving and travel. Yet she wanted this one to be special; something more memorable than her many victims she drained to maintain her immortality.
After this night, this town would not survive except him. For over a century she knew there were so many fates worse than death hidden from mortal minds. She was getting anxious.
