Writing about the correlations of political upheaval,
attempting to create a picture of mankinds greatest evil,
not one like.
Penning about the emotional bond between mother and son,
strewn with love and hate and how this derision had begun,
not one like.
Scribbling on the changes of the seasons and of storms,
of hurricanes and earthquakes and how it affected the social norms,
not one like.
Jotting some random observation I witnessed on the public transit,
when a theif was stopped from taking an old ladys purse replying with wit,
not one like.
No one needs to like ones work,
such expectations are absurd,
only the writer should like his work,
his voice is the one that should be heard,
yet this is unacceptable in the digital age,
in order to acheive success one must reach the masses,
so here I sit questioning what I should write next on this page,
only to be filled with angst as the readers say they pass,
apparently my efforts does not serve my ideals,
it only fuels my unfathomable boiling rage.
Lesson learned from such a series of failures,
not one like,
however I am none the wiser for not lying,
I continue to write despite my doubts,
who needs a like when you realize if your not trying your dying?

Well, I like this poem very much for the writing, which so well puts over the point. As to the content, it makes me wish to search for some of your other work which I may have missed.
Keep writing,
