Lost One

Through amber shores of timeless space,
Eyes ever peering into the penitent unknown,
Of beauty cast from diamond stars,
Of horrors unspeakable that devour minds.
Bearing witness to all things that were,
Of bastions of barriers between worlds,
Of creatures that held dominion over all.
It that walked the many forms,
Of distant galaxies giving forth a last breath,
Of nearest voids that subsume all life,
A lost one returns from travels beyond,
Heralds the bell of our last judgement.
For therin the story has yet to be written,
Yet has it not already been transcribed,
Upon the ever changing fabric of the present,
To redeem a future drowned in darkness,
By showing the way towards a fading light.
