Trevor stumbled into the abandoned building fully alert and wild eyed. After the brief fight with the Heretic, he felt completely exhausted beyond belief; he never thought one of those things could last that long against his specialty handcrafted, jagged blades that glimmered silver in the pale crimson moon.
"Nearly took me for one, that bastard did, but its over now. I'm safe, and just peachy." Trevor spat as he removed the piece of bone the Heretic embedded into his leg. With a loud, sickening pop the bone lifted out of his leg, bleeding ashes for a bit before the wound entirely healed mystically. Cursed with Anti-Life and overdosed on Amethis had some particularly unusual side effects but came in handy when those things showed up; or when he needed to vent his pain through self-mutilation. Throwing aside his gear and removing his hood revealed his true, hideously scarred face half shrouded by a crudely made muzzle. Scars and patches of skin were around one of his eyes making it look like it was about to fall right out of his translucent skull. A long, deep incision starting from the front of his ear to the back of his head gave his appearance an unnerving look. Trevor's luminous, sunken black eyes were his worst feature, all black and devoid of all life, meaning, and peace which made more than one Heretic stop for a bit to shiver in utter terror. His attire was no worse than his appearance since he only wore what he could find on the road. Most of which was either rags or scraps of cloth sown together haphazardly but it protected his exterior shell quite well against most elements; save for the brimstone rain that fell occasionally. Ever since the Apocalypse of Afterlife began, he was sent here to be punished for all the wrongs he did plus his hand in the execution of most of the Ethereal Order when the Revenent Army took over. He still claimed it wasn't his fault but they sent him here anyway, at least that is what he believed ever since he landed here dead center in No Life. No Life is the true embodiment of all Hell and evil and it was here that Trevor was banished to when the Machine went off destroying most of the borders between the perceptions of bliss and torment. Still, he liked it here in a way. Here, he could be free from the people who have always despised and abused him, using his frail soul as a lab rat rather than treating him like a human being. Here, he was God and no one, nothing, could tell him any different. Propping up against the corner of the room he drifted off into sleep but woke suddenly when a strange animal rubbed up against his leg. This thing looked like a cross between a cat stitched together with a lemur. It mewed at him and looked at him with one glowing green eye. Trevor's mouth dropped to the floor when he realized what this thing was. It was Persephone, Yama's favorite pet. Persephone leaped away and sped out into the darkness out the front door. A few moments later Yama briskly walked in. Yama was nothing more than a small, pale child wearing a ragged dress with various medallions and rings decorating her frail body. She gently caressed Persephone while she mewed with utter delight then she came forward and gazed into Trevor's eyes with a strange intent.
"Hello Trevor. Its been so long. Do you know how long it took me to find you?"
