It's a gorgeous disease
and she was looking at me
with a glass brain shattered
waiting
Her dirty hands bleeding
growing anorexic by the minute
Let me baptize her
with the blood of my sin
Give me her half drunken heart
vodka where the blood should run
congeal it into a key
so she may take my place in heaven
And as I sit
letting the crystal maggots eat at my skull
opening bloodless pits
that run white with wine
I sit sedted from the pain
my face half ground away
for every inch of me that dies
ascends the soul of my saved lives.
