Coca Cola Moon
Sunlight splinters through the teardrops of rain
The billboards show examples of autumnal pain
Living in this consumer automation
We are all guilty of a certain association
The adverts feed us, like pigs to a teat
How did they achieve this aesthetic feat
Of making us buy the things we need least
And forget the starving, over a midnight feast
Aloof and alone in this age of defeat
The telly's on, come in, take a seat
And feel the warm glow of propagation at work
Now learn to forget, and aim for a merc
Lets all conform to the capitalist dream
You don't have a choice, you wont split the seam
We've been sewing for so long, now lets reap
The silvery gifts of this suburban sleep
The workers docile, the needy ignored
This is the marketed reward
Can you see? Its all happened so soon
An advert in the sky, the Coca Cola moon
