'Penny For The Guy Sir?'
Half packed, badly made, nothing like
An effigy. Supposed to be a Guy!
Sat on the curb by some scrounging tyke,
who at his age, must live an awful lie.

'Trick Or Treat'
Halloween, and kids in cheap attire,
Knock and ring, to disturb our quiet.
'Trick or treat'. They promise Hell and fire,
If we feed not, their hungry candy diet.

'Spare A Few Coppers, Gov?'
The 'Wino' in the shopping mall,
Guzzling strong cider from a giant bottle.
Many people pass, everyone his pal.
His clothes like rags. Bloated face a-mottle.
