This is a sample chapter from the audiobook of my debut A Working Class State of Mind. This story actually shares the same name as the title of the book. Please give it a listen as I feel it's a story that's very relevant today due to the cost of living crisis. 

For those familiar with the famous Robert the Bruce and spider story. This is a modern interpretation of that tale.

That was brilliant - and really well narrated too - thank you for sharing colin. I see you're getting some well deserved very good reviews for the book too. 

There was a small typo in the title which I've edited for you - hope that was ok
