passing my cafe window

unhurried, in modest dress,

 

she is beautiful, yes, still

beautiful, and unaware

that behind the misty glass

she is quietly admired

I am a fan of the Imagistes and their way of distilling an image succenctly - no frills or fuss. I look better when viewed through thick blindfoldage smiley

I have a fair few Imagiste poems published - stuck one up here (summat about a postcard) only yesterday. Mind you mine are nowhere near the quality of HD, Aldington and Pound for example  :)
