Over it!

Tears falling from eyes unseen,
distorted perceptions
of what used to be a dream.

Reality finally settling in,
no longer searching
for what could have been.

As I sit here now I see you as you are,
mask removed
my heart you can no longer mar.

A phoenix risen from the flames,
strong and everlasting
never again to be tamed.
