The plants and flowers agree,
they miss their foraging friends,
whose buzzing visitations
were as valued as the sun.
The plants and flowers wait
for the harvesting of their goods -
a butterfly barely lands
with such lavish intent.
The plants and flowers wonder
what caused the dwindling end
of the buzzing visitations
they wish to happen again.
