Gilbert Smith

When the bell goes Gilbert leaps.
Hurdles student desks and seats.
Runs at super sonic speed.
Saying hooray I've been freed.

Runs at full speed down THE HALL
Bouncing his ball off the wall.
Shouts out "last one to the pitch,
Is a smelly bottoms itch"

Every weekday break and lunch
dirty fowling tackles crunch.
Gilbert shouts out "the crowed roars",
Every single time he scores.

Then in class poor Albert dreams.
of home time, goals and football teams.
Keeping his pen out of reach.
You'd never guess he's here to teach.
