Autumn (Sorry, this is a poem, but didn't know how to add it)

Autumn
Look out of the window
Survey the changes taking place.
With the flair of an artist
Nature paints the falling leaves
Caressing them with such gentle strokes
As a lover would
Myriads of colours
Drying as they hit the ground
Crisping under your feet
As you begin to stroll around.
Wind whistles about your ears,
Blowing out it's sweetest tune
Like a bluesman would
On his harp.
Watch smoke spiralling skyward
As we set light to effigies
Residing in splendour
Atop their newly created thrones.
See money going up in flames
In seconds.
Sparkling colours
Light up the dark night sky
Then fade away into the ether.
Feel the moist air
Touching your skin
See your own breath as you exhale
Hear the bird song fading
As they fly south
Taste the beauty of the season
In everything.
All this preparing you for
Winter
