The Territory Wars - Part 1

The first major event in recorded history, brought about by the rapid expansion of the humans, the stubbornness of the Dwarves and the regrettable collateral damage suffered by The Elves.  With the yet officially defined borders of the three immortal races beginning to encroach on each other, tensions were coming to a head. Bastros, the self declared One King of the Continent was the first to stoke the flames by sending an emissary to inform the Dwarven Queen, Tryff,  that they owed a tithe of precious gems for residing on his continent and mining from the mountain, Utengresner – home to The Dwarves.   Queen Tryff, aghast at a claim by such a young race, sent the emissary back with nothing but a bag of dirt and a statement that read “Oh great believer of your worth, only once you have been on this continent longer than I, shall we owe you anything”

Upon reading the returned missive, King Bastros, with a malicious intent, set out to make sure he was around longer than The Queen.
