What am I doing here?
Something I tend to ask myself every time I come around to another location to try and write creatively. Be it Wordpress, DigitalExpressions.nu, or ABC Tales.
I seem to get something out of writing the way my fingers dance across the keys tend to seem melodic to me but then I go back and read the words I wrote it's almost lost it's tune. Sorry for the melodramatics, just flexing a muscle that I've ignored to atrophy for a while. That goes for my spelling and... word flexibility as well. I like to call the latter "Thesaurasising"
So in short, bear with me... or is it bare with me? I like Bear. It makes way less sense but is at the same time, way more amusing.
So (and I start a lot of my narratives like that, also, "anyway")
So, anyway. What am I doing here?
This time I'm here to work on a world creation idea I had for the game D&D. I want to eventually run a campaign (And If I lose people on that one, let me know and I can go further in depth - not debt as I first spelled it.) But what I want to do is run a game in a homebrew world that I created from the ground up. I'm not looking to redefine the genre so it will be cliche and tropey as heck. But the problem I've always had was where to start. It's hard for me to start in the middle. I've never been very good at that which is why this time I want to start at the very beginning.
THE DAWN OF CREATION (Just imagine that in a movie-esk voice)
Or something.
So that's the plan. I'm currently debating if I'm going to do it as a series of found books or if I'll just write like I'm telling a story. Because I kinda like the idea of writing a fantasy equivalent of a bible or a history book sort of theme but I feel like that adds constraints. But then again, it also gives me the opportunity to bounce around like a gummi bear.
In short. Who knows! I just want somewhere to catalogue a series of ideas and hopefully get some critque along the way.
