Welcome to that time in life when...

Experience takes over from reaction,
Knowing is more important than remembering,
Smiling is much better for you than frowning,
Good humour is finely balanced with good looks,
And the journey becomes so much easier....

...because from here it’s all DOWNHILL!!!!

Not sure it's all downhill, Dave. I am on the wrong side of forty, retired very early, two years ago, and am having the time of my life. Poetry, I don't usually comment on, but I must be going soft in my latter years.

Very many thanks to oldpesky and hulsey for the comments... Yep, the "wrong" side of forty isn't all that bad; there are definitely a whole bunch of advantages that the "young'uns" don't even know are advantages yet!!!! :-) Cheers, Dave
