Be careful those of us who wish to use Facebook to counter the Russian paid ‘Trolls’, who seem to be operating on the comments to many newspaper articles posted to Facebook.
Alfred got banned from making comments for a day, and posts put down the priority/frequency list (?), for a full month, for exercising his free speech against Russian paid ‘Trolls’. As related earlier in Part 1 he was criticising Russian soldiers who have committed war crimes in Bucha, and elsewhere, and received a warning and the suppression of his share and comment on the newspaper article.
On a second occasion, a day or so later, he was on the comments of a newspaper Middle Eastern article Facebook post, arguing with some Russian ‘Trolls’, along with other keyboard warriors. As Alfred could remember now one Russian paid troll had suggested that Hitler and Stalin had come quite close to breaking or threatening the western democratic/ liberal world order, as if this was not such a bad thing. Naturally Alfred had felt he had to answer back against the idea that could have been desirable. So he described both Hitler and Stalin as monsters, and likened Putin to them, in the sense that all three of them threatened the western/ democratic/ liberal world order!
He presumed that Russian paid Trolls might have complained about his choice of words, although he is not sure about that. Nevertheless Facebook restricted him for a month for effectively describing Hitler and Stalin as monsters, which he would have imagined most adults in Britain would probably agree they were, and that Putin, by extension, was therefore a monster too! Now Alfred could not see what was so controversial about saying Hitler and Stalin were monsters. Historians had been saying and proving such an assertion for many years. And most of the world’s media and the public in many countries would surely agree with that assertion about Putin, after hearing about the unprovoked damage done to the Ukrainian people and their homes and society, by order of that man Putin, since the Invasion of Ukraine started on February 24th 2022!

I think HItler and Stalin
I think HItler and Stalin were monsters. Hundreds of millions died. Putin to is a monster. But of lesser magnitured unless he starts another war. Trump is a moster too. As is Boris Johnson. It's all a matter of magnitude.

Free speech and Social media
Free speech and Social media is something of an oxymoron. Things get said that shouldn't with no sanctions and things get said that should with sanctions. Further regulation much needed. Many monsters around the Globe - Putin is just one of them. Even if he one of the worst.
