The New Forest

My forest is so beautiful
so very peaceful and tranquil

There is good reason
to love it every season

Spring with all its new birth
bursting ever forth
Summer with its brilliant sunshine
that dances and glistens so fine
Autumn with the colours changing hue
then falling, whirling leaves coming into view
Winter with its cold crisp days & sparkling frost
Animals with their extra woolly fur keeping them warm as toast

The ponies are so very handsome
out on the forest looking so winsome
Oh how I love my forest with its, trees, plains, gorse & heather
There really is no-where better
